All these copies must be removed from all systems when the employee leaves the university or at the end of the contract. The license terms for Adobe products purchased under the University`s CLP limit their use only for educational purposes and only for use on university-owned computers. The following software products are distributed under agreements managed/negotiated by Eduserv and, subject to JISC upgrades, may be downloaded free of charge during the term of the contract, provided that the end user is still employed or enrolled at the university at the time of release of the upgrade.

A valid university card is required to confirm status at the university. Under the terms of the Agreement, Participant may license certain Microsoft software at preferential rates offered by Microsoft. By signing the Agreement Form to which these Terms are attached, you have agreed to purchase the number and type of licenses for the Software (“the Software”) specified in the Purchase Order submitted pursuant to this Entry Agreement and accepted by Jisc (“the Purchase Order”). These terms and conditions define the basis on which the participant accepts the license of this software. This software is part of the Microsoft Select offering. Licenses under this agreement are only available to departments and colleges (not students or staff for personal use on their own machine). Licenses cannot be shared on different computers at the same time. You must purchase and assign a license for each computer on which the software product is installed or running from a server. Concurrency is not available in Microsoft products. Provisioning through Jisc gives access to Microsoft`s Service Level Agreement, so you can be insured. The agreement defines crucial aspects of the relationship, such as responsibility, quality and availability, to protect your business. Vault software contracts include software from Microsoft and Adobe in areas such as GIS, statistics and mathematics, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, mind mapping and training, and software asset management and security tools.

The agreement requires that recordings be kept of all reproductions, distributions and uses of campus software products. If reproductions of cd-ROM media are made for departmental or university purposes, please inform the IT services (software@it.ox.ac.uk). The reproduction of media for the rights “Work at Home” is not allowed. The software included in the Agreement is covered by full upgrade and downgrade rights. The PaintShop Pro license terms limit use to one license per single-use PC; a copy may only be made for backup purposes. The license runs as long as the product continues to work. The full terms of the license agreement are included in the box package. The license expires if you fail to comply with the terms of the agreement, in which case the software must be removed from the computer and the media must be destroyed or returned to computer services. The cost of a unit is based on the total number of users in the NDS tree for that unit. There is an initial membership fee for the license and then an annual maintenance fee that is charged annually in August 2004 in August. You will be automatically charged maintenance fees once you have signed the contract and a period of 3 months is required to withdraw from the program.
