We are looking for an organized, self-directed person to join our investment management firm. The Client Service Associate will be a person who cares about the small details and enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile client transaction activity (daily/monthly).
- Maintain internal client records and portfolio data using cloud-based portfolio systems (Tamarac).
- Work closely with custodial firms to manage client account opening/closing process, including reconciliation of cost basis information.
- Coordinate directly with clients and custodial firms to implement operational requests and administrative changes. Activities can include transfer of assets, modifications to account titles and tax treatment.
- Assist with preparation of client reporting materials, including ad-hoc meeting requests and quarterly summary reporting.
- Prepare, organize and manage a variety of client correspondence.
- Provide support to securities trading function.
Qualifications/Competencies
- Commitment to treating our clients as you would want to be treated.
- Exceptionally thorough and organized.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Extremely comfortable using computers/technology, including cloud-based applications.
- Comfortable working independently and communicating directly with clients.
- Investment industry experience a big plus.
- Associate degree, Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience
